We want you to be happy with VoicePaste. If it's not working for you, email support@voicepaste.app and we'll sort it out. Card payments (through Paddle) follow the windows below, where refunds are automatic and no explanation is needed. Outside those windows, we still review requests case-by-case and tend to say yes. Bitcoin payments are the exception: they are final, because on-chain transactions can't be reversed, so please test VoicePaste free first.
The $99 VoicePaste Local license is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
After 30 days, refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If the app has a defect that prevents you from using it, we'll refund you regardless of timing.
Refunded licenses are revoked, and the promotional tagline returns to transcriptions in VoicePaste Local mode. Your local history, audio, and settings are not affected.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal or by emailing us. After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you revert to the free tier. No further charges occur.
We refund the most recent monthly payment if you request it within 14 days of that payment, regardless of how much quota you've used.
We refund the full yearly payment if you request it within 30 days of purchase or renewal, regardless of usage. After 30 days, we can offer a prorated refund for the unused months, minus any months already consumed at the equivalent monthly rate.
Regardless of the windows above, we'll process a refund anytime for: accidental double-purchases, billing errors, failed transcriptions caused by a service outage on our end, or other situations where you reasonably couldn't use what you paid for. Just email us.
Payments made with Bitcoin are final and non-refundable. On-chain Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, so unlike a card payment, we cannot reverse or refund them. This is stated clearly at checkout before you pay.
Because of this, we make it easy to try VoicePaste before paying with Bitcoin: VoicePaste Cloud is free for 30 minutes every month, and VoicePaste Local is free to use. Please confirm VoicePaste works for you on the free tier first.
If a Bitcoin order genuinely fails, for example you paid but never received your license key, email support@voicepaste.app and we'll put it right, such as issuing your key or a replacement. The statutory rights described below still apply where the law requires.

We typically respond within 1–2 business days. Refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method and usually land within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing, and the actual refund transaction. You can also contact Paddle directly through their buyer support at paddle.net.
Nothing in this policy limits the statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you retain your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital goods and services where applicable.
